Thank you for your interest in the Mortar Board Alumni/Tolo Foundation Scholarships.

Mortar Board Alumni/Tolo Foundation annually recognizes University of Washington sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students based on distinguished achievement in scholarship, leadership and service to the campus and community. The Foundation awards over $50,000 in total scholarships each year. Students from all fields of study are invited to apply. Membership in Mortar Board is not required.

Acceptance of 2026-27 applications begins on March 1, 2026. 

To be considered, an applicant must be a currently enrolled student at the University of Washington at the time of application and be a sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student at the University of Washington during 2026-27.

UW students seeking a 2026-27 scholarship will find complete eligibility requirements and submission requirements on the University of Washington Office of Merit Scholarships, Fellowships & Awards webpage listed under Mortar Board in their database or find the information directly here.
